From October 13 till 16, VMworld – the largest virtualization event in Europe – took place in Barcelona. Together with my colleagues – David and Pieter – I joined this yearly conference about virtualization
It has been a couple of weeks since we attended VMworld 2013 Europe which was held in Barcelona or as the marketing ladies and gentlemen like to refer to it: the DEFY convention.
Over 8000 IT professionals were present in Barcelona and over 23000 in San Francisco. This is not just a fun fact about VMworld, but a clear indication of what is happening within the virtualization market:
